Publication Charges

Jurnal Laboratorium Khatulistiwa applies Article Processing Charges (APC) to support editorial management, peer review operations, DOI registration, digital hosting, and long-term digital preservation.

APC Structure

• Internal Authors: IDR 350,000 (≈ USD 22)
• External Authors: IDR 500,000 (≈ USD 32)

*USD values are approximate and may vary depending on the exchange rate.

Important Notes:
APC is charged only after manuscript acceptance following peer review.
APC does not influence editorial decisions.

Fast-Track Service (Optional)

Fast-track processing is an optional editorial service designed to accelerate administrative handling of manuscripts.

• Fee: IDR 800,000 (≈ USD 50)

Important:
Fast-track service does NOT guarantee acceptance.
All manuscripts remain subject to full peer review.
Editorial independence is fully maintained.

• Editorial workflow and peer-review management
• DOI registration and metadata indexing
• Online publication and hosting (OJS system)
• Layout editing and formatting
• Long-term digital archiving

Waiver Policy

The journal may provide APC waivers or discounts based on:

• Financial limitations of authors
• Institutional or regional considerations
• Editorial board decision

Waiver requests must be submitted before acceptance.
