Plagiarism Policy

Plagiarism is defined as the act of using another person's work, ideas, data, or research findings without proper acknowledgment, citation, or permission from the original source. Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to, direct copying, improper paraphrasing without appropriate citation, and self-plagiarism.

All manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Kebidanan Khatulistiwa (JKK) will undergo an initial plagiarism screening using similarity detection software, such as Turnitin, to assess the similarity index. The acceptable similarity index for submitted manuscripts is less than 20%.

Manuscripts with a similarity index of 20% or higher may be rejected before entering the peer-review process. Authors may be invited to revise and resubmit their manuscripts after addressing the identified similarity issues, subject to the journal's editorial policies and assessment.

Jurnal Kebidanan Khatulistiwa (JKK) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity. Plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, and other forms of research misconduct are unacceptable. All submitted manuscripts must comply with the journal's ethical standards and publication policies.
