Perbedaan Efek Fisiologis pada Pekerja Sebelum dan Sesudah Bekerja Di Lingkungan Kerja Panas

Abstract


Abstract: The Difference Of Physical Effect Among Before And After Working At Hot Work Environment. This study aimed at discovering the difference of physical effect among before and after working in hot work environment (a study on the machine workers of PT. PLN (PERSERO) Kapuas Sector, West Kalimantan). Using observational analytic method and cross-sectional designs, this study employed 45 respondents who were selected by using total sampling technique. The data were analyzed by using Wilcoxon test with 95% confidence level. The results showed that the average systolic blood pressure before working was 166.33 mm Hg, the average systolic blood pressure after working was 123.29 mmHg with p-value = 0.000, the average diastolic blood pressure before working was 79, 00 mmHg, and the average diastolic blood pressure after working was 80.89 mmHg with p-value = 0,032. On the other hand, the average pulse before working was 81.82 seconds/minutes, and the average pulse after working was92.93 sec/min, with p-value = 0.000. Hence, there were no differences in systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, and pulse rate before and after exposure to heat.

Abstrak : Perbedaan Efek Fisiologis Pada Pekerja Sebelum Dan Sesudah Bekerja Di Lingkungan Kerja Panas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan efek fisiologis pada pekerja sebelum dan sesudah bekerja di lingkungan kerja panas pada pekerja bagian mesin di PT. PLN (PERSERO) Sektor Kapuas Kalimantan Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan Cross  sectional. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 45 responden diambil dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Analisa data dengan uji statistik Wilcoxon dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tekanan darah sistolik rata-rata sebelum bekerja adalah 166,33 mmHg, tekanan darah sistolik rata-rata sesudah bekerja adalah 123,29 mmHg dengan nilai p value = 0,000, dan tekanan darah diastolik rata-rata sebelum bekerja adalah 79,00 mmHg, tekanan darah diastolik rata-rata sesudah bekerja adalah 80,89 mmHg dengan nilai p value = 0,032, sedangkan denyut nadi rata-rata sebelum bekerja adalah 81,82 detik/menit, denyut nadi rata-rata sesudah bekerja adalah 92,93 detik/menit, dengan nilai p value = 0,000 yang berarti ada perbedaan tekanan darah sistolik, diastolik dan denyut nadi sebelum dan sesudah terpapar panas.
