Pasien dengan Ulkus Diabetes yang Dirawat di Rumat Bekasi Memiliki Kualitas Hidup yang Baik

Abstract


Ulkus dapat mempengaruhi banyak aspek dalam kehidupan manusia. Karakteristik ulkus diabetes seperti sukar sembuh, nyeri dan berbau dapat mempengaruhi kualitas hidup seseorang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas hidup  pasien dengan ulkus diabetes di Rumah Rawat Luka di Bekasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskritif dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Untuk mengukur tingkat kualitas hidup pada pasien dengan ulkus diabetes ini menggunakan instrumen Diabetic Foot Ulcer Scale – Short Form. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien dengan ulkus diabetes melitus yang melakukan perawatan  di Rumah Rawat Luka (RUMAT) di Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis univariat. Analisis ini melihat karakteristik dari variabel yang dilihat berdasarkan skor total, mean dan standar deviasi yang menghasilkan tingkat kualitas hidup buruk, cukup dan baik. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pasien dengan ulkus diabetes di RUMAT memiliki kualitas hidup yang baik, dengan karakteristik lebih banyak pria, aktif bekerja, sudah menikah dan tinggal bersama pasangan hidup dan anak, memiliki riwayat DM >5 tahun dengan nilai GDS ≤200mm/dL, riwayat ulkus <1 tahun. Berdasarkan  hasil penelitian, tenaga kesehatan khususnya perawat yang memberikan perawatan langsung kepada pasien harus memperhatikan domain-domain kehidupan dalam memberikan perawatan yang berhubungan dengan kualitas hidup pasien dan memberikan edukasi kepada pasien dan keluarga mengenai pentingnya memperhatikan kualitas hidup
