PERSPEKTIF MAHASISWA KEPERAWATAN TERHADAP CAPAIAN PEMBELAJARAN KLINIK DENGAN METODE PEER LEARNING
Abstract
Pendidikan klinik penting sebagai bagian dalam proses pembelajaran mahasiswa keperawatan. Beberapa masalah tercatat dari proses pendidikan klinik seperti kurangnya jumlah clinicaI Instructor, dan hambatan komunikasi. Beberapa metode telah di implementasikan terhadap permasalahan ini dan salah satu adalah metode peer learning. Beberapa penelitian menemukan beberapa manfaat dari peer learning dalam pendidikan klinik tetapi sedikit sekali ditemukan bagaimana pengaruh metode ini baik keuntungan dan kelemahan ter- hadap hasil pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui capaian pembelajaran dari peer learning dari perspektif mahasiswa. Desain menggunakan kualitatif studi dengan teknik wawancara terstruktur. Sampel di pilih berdasarkan kriteria tertentu. Analisa data menggunakan content analysis. Data dikumpulkan melalui 4 grup diskusi di salah satu rumah sakit. Hasil yang ditemukan dari FGD adalah beberapa tema yaitu perkembangan berpikir kritis, efikasi diri, kepemimpinan dan self esteem. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode peer learning ini dapat membantu siswa untuk meningkatkan kemampuan belajar mahasiswa. Hal ini memiliki implikasi untuk perbaikan pendidikan klinik untuk mencapai luaran pembelajaran dan kompetensi mahasiswa.
