ANALISIS KEPUASAN CITRA TUBUH DENGAN PEMILIHAN MAKANAN PADA REMAJA

Abstract


Perubahan pada fase remaja mulai menilai diri, dan mengubah citra diri, yang dapat mengarah pada penilaian yang positif dan negatif. Persepsi yang negatif ini dapat mempengaruhi perilaku makan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kepuasan citra tubuh dengan pemilihan makanan pada remaja. Penelitian ini berupa observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMAN 3 Kabupaten Tangerang yang berusia 15-17 tahun, sebanyak 114 responden. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Consecutive Sampling. Data citra tubuh dikaji menggunakan Kuesioner Multidimensional Body Self Relation Questionnaire Appearance Scales (MBSRQ-AS), dan data pemilihan makan menggunakan Food Choice Quesioner (FCQ), secara online. Korelasi kedua variabel dianalisis menggunakan uji Spearman Rank. Sebanyak 85 orang ( 74,6%) memiliki citra tubuh normal, 19 orang (16,7%) dengan citra tubuh positif, dan sebanyak 10 orang (8,8%) memiliki citra tubuh negatif. Terdapat hubungan citra tubuh dengan pemilihan makanan pada dimensi bahan alami (p=0,037; r=0,196), dimensi kesehatan (p=0,012; r=0,235) dan dimensi control berat badan (p=0,033; r=0,200). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa remaja dengan pemilihan makan yang bersifat alami, bermanfaat untuk kesehatan, serta dapat mengontrol berat badan berpotensi sebagai penentu perkembangan citra tubuh. Edukasi gizi bagi remaja sebaiknya diarahkan untuk dengan pendekatan citra tubuh untuk membentuk perilaku makan yang baik.
